Thats because its depreciated if u read the tooltip it states to put it in the crafting table...
if i remember right its X numbers of non hostile mobs in a 3x3 and a x number of hostiles in a 3x3 if i remember right i believe it was 50 nonhostile?

rftools or enderio both have crafters. i use the thermal expanion assembler. theres production tables as well
