The focus over the last several weeks was around the 1.7 packs and the implementation into the MineYourMind Network. While we reached to get the most wanted packs online, we are still not on the level of the 1.6 packs due to a lot of system changes, plugin and mod updates, rewrites and new creations. But the servers are running, free for everyone to join and ready to have fun with.

    Modsauce Start
Launch 22th of november (tomorrow) 18 o'clock CET
    IP modsauce.mineyourmind.net and modsauce.mym.li
    Client MyMLauncher - ATLauncher

    Modpacks

    MineYourGalaxy
Our own pack. Built by Knoxz and inspired by FluxGalaxy. This pack does have its peculiarities with some of its resources being only available on certain planets that need to be visited first and mobs that scare the hell out of you. During the testing phase it was probably the pack with the most average deaths in relation to playtime. Get ready for a challenge. ;)

Client (does support java 1.8 now)

    Direwolf20
The continuation of dirwolf20's modpack to his let's play series. Since the minecraft/forge version of 1.4 direwolf had his own modpack over all major versions always with a few new mods that we never saw in other feed the beast packs. The 1.7.10 direwolf20 modpack is still in its early stage and kept small but with the idea of steadily growth. As always it is a mix of everything with a few not so well known mods. Unfortunately there is a serious bug between the server software cauldron and the pack with the current version. We hope this will get sorted out soon.

Client (does support java 1.8 now)

    BevoTechPack
The BevoTechPack was one of the first big and playable 1.7.10 packs focused on technic mods. We used this pack as a public test-server for the 1.7 preparations. While it doesn’t have anything special, it is a nice big pack with mods for everyone. The whole pack is setup for a fast and easy playstyle, so it might be most interesting for people that like to focus on building.

Client (does support java 1.8 now)

    Modsauce
Modsauce, the most requested modpack will be added to our network soon. It is a exploration modpack with a lot of extra mobs, dungeons and special world structure generation. The pack is quite known as it has been put up for the hermitcraft let’s play server.

Client (does support java 1.8 now)

    BeyondReality
Beyond of reality is a quite unknown modpack which has been built around gregtech. This will probably be the only modpack with gregtech we will include in MineYourMind. It does still include some overpowered aspects and ways to bypass gregtech aspects, but we do consider a pack without these ways like InfiTech too extreme for a public server.
    SOON..

    D.I.E. (hardcore re-defined)
Death Is Expected is another one of our own modpacks made by Cbrozak and Charleswcrumbley, this pack was made to give the term hardcore meaning again. This pack will be based around TFC (a minecraft overhaul) for the early-game before moving onto thaumcraft4 and balanced exchange. This server is a pvp/raiding server but good luck getting past the hoards of mobs that will be banging at your front door ready to kill you at a moments notice.
    SOON..

    Will 1.6 pack shut down?
Yes, sooner or later the 1.6 packs will lose a lot of players while the 1.7 packs gain them. There will be a time where we have to make the big decision on shutting some down for the specific reasons like: space for 1.7, maintenance blocker, drop of support (staff team), server costs and too low playerbase. The main worlds will be made available for download.

    Lobby/Hub
One of the first things you might notice is that there isn't any lobby for the 1.7 servers, this is not because we got lazy. Unfortunately there are a few bugs between bungeecord and and a few mods that prevent the use at the current stage. While there are packs without these troubling mods that would work, we do relay on an up to date forge version which most of the modpacks do not come with by default. Once the packs update forge and the issues between a few of the mods and bungeecord get sorted we will implement the new lobby.

    Planned

    Final plugin/mod updates to 1.7
There are still a few plugins and mods that don’t work with 1.7 yet and need to be updated or adjusted. Furthermore do we replace performance hungry third party plugins step by step with custom solutions. Unfortunately this does cost a lot of time and testing but better slow then still standing.

    Shop system changes
I never liked the system of buycraft or any other minecraft server shop system. I always wanted my own custom solution. It is about time to make that happen. The main difference is access to premium perks without the investment of real world money. This is a huge project and depending on the motivation and time might take a long time to finish.

    Public server statistics
We have a lot of visualized statistics about things like player count and server performance. These visualized statistics have been built to improve the overview over the servers and have grown over time. It is planned to add them to the web interface (ticket system only atm) so everyone with an account can access them easily.

    Complete website rewrite
We currently use a small content management system that has been customized with the website getting smaller and smaller over time it is overhead. This is the reason why it is planned to rebuild the whole website without any content management system to flawlessly integrate the backend (only ticket system atm).
