spikes from ExU utilize fake players doing attacks, getting lots of rare bags

 

It was changed so that fake player kills only get the common and uncommon bags, not the rare ones. Azanor is sneaky

Edit2: no luck so far with looting III spikes while autospawning champion mobs

 

When i was on Crundee i made a semi-auto enderman grinder that gave me rare bags
Here is what ya do: create a bunch/few teir 3 (awakened core upgraded) stabilised spawners or similar speed spawners of any ammount,
take an AOE weapon (such as the staff of power)...
left click, left click, left click, left click... you get the point

 

Maybe this idea should follow the new achievements concept but in this case, it'll take the require items that would normally lead to this item and in-return, gives you the leading item.
E.g. 1 Runed Tablet requires 4 Eldritch Eye to be in your inventory. I'm sure this can be worked on.

 

Just make it an custom infusion of endgame thaumcraft items, like 4 restitch eyes and 4 void metal blocks with some ichor in the centre?

 

Blah blah void make a awakened pick thaumcraft and fly to the dungeon make a hole ta da ur in no more issues

So what you're saying is you captured an eldritch thingymabob and started spawning that instead? I never got that far into Thaumcraft so I have no idea how plausible that would be. I should probably progress that far and see.

You realize they could easily just add a new recipe for it? They have that ability.

But if that means what I think it means wouldnt you have to be in a position to have initial contact, which is the issue in the first place since I doubt theres any way to do that left on infinity at least.

well, rare treasure bags work.

placed 11 mfr autospawners, set them to exact copy, and filled them with "mighty zombis" which allways drop a treasure bag (not allways rare ones, but often)
From this setup you get a lot of bags in short time.


also tried the crimson shade in eerie biome thing multiple times, but that didn't work at all...

 

Any of the named champion mobs should work with the same success rate It does take a lot of rare bags (~200-300 ish) to get a pearl though
