I apologize in advance if this idea has been turned down or posted already. After a week I have started to really enjoy this modpack. About a week ago a friend told me about this wondrous modpack which is blastoff. Since then i have been on it every time i get a chance or a hour to spare. I highly recommend this modpack. However After searching for hours i was unsuccessful in finding a public server. All I ask is if we could have a vote on weather or not it is a good idea. I am fully aware that there is alot of mods in this pack that make it hard for one to create a server. However I have come up with ways to work around these problems. If there is a chance of this server materializing I will be glad to help with ideas on how one would go about constructing a server as complex as this.
You can read up on why or why not here. I personally contated the pack autor to see if she would change some of the features for a server version.... we couldnt work it out. I Appreciate the early reply and have already checked out that post. I did enquire on that page awhile ago regarding the matter but got no response so i assumed the post had become outdated and irrelevant. That is why i am here now asking if we could have a vote for a short duration of time just to decide weather or not to have this server. That is if the staff will be fine with it
The issue here is that it is not like agrarian skies or crash landing where you only need a small starting place that can be copied in. This pack requires the dungeon near by... Unfortunately this makes it impossible with the setup of ag and cl and building another solution which "might" work implements a lot of work and probably some custom development to which currently don't have the resources for.
I think i took this too lightly when i requested for this vote. I spoke to another staff member that explained the current situation. To be able to code all the dimensions and fix all the bugs would be incredibly time consuming. So i have decided i will wait for the Dev to release server files that run smoother when it comes to public servers. Ill make sure to give a heads up when compatible server files come out
