Done Blood Magic isn't giving me a Chicken Egg

I give my Blood Altar my blood and a feather, and it just drains LP without giving me an egg. I tried doing this in singleplayer and it worked. Is this a restricted item?

 

This requires a tier 2 altar. In the picture there you have a tier 1 that would be your issue.

 

I tried doing this in singleplayer and it worked... Plus NEI says I need a teir 1 altar.

 

Please try and use a tier 2 altar on the server and see if it works. Re-opening the post.

 

Check NEI again, it is Tier 2.
