agricraft Pam's Ender IO MFR Thermal Expansion Are the ones I normally use. I only despise mods that change terrain, like underground biomes, this is purely from an aesthetics point of view though as they aren't Sphax patched and their vanilla textures usually irritate me.
Why no Thaumcraft or other magic mods? D: Thaumcraft is one of the coolest mods :I But here my list of tech mods and the reasons why i like these mods: Mekanism & Mekanism Generators (tech mod with many machines, which also have neat textures) Applied Energistics (Compact Storage prevents messy bases) (Chisel & Bits (does that count as tech mod?) new ways of building stuff) Agricraft (resource generation and 10/10/10 seeds) EnderIO (beautiful Guis and not too op) Thermal Expansion & Thermal Dynamics (cryotheum cables and machines, that are good for beginners) Immersive Engineering (most beautiful tech mod (looking at you IC2 ) ever, also STEAMPUNK!) Mods i never use and the reasons: Industrialcraft (it's ugly, it looks like it's stuck in 2012 Minecraft modded) Mods i use only sometimes and the reasons: Draconic Evolution (Using it for the Spawners and the Energy Storage, the rest is too op and the armour is ugly) Mods i would like to play, but aren't in most packs: Academycraft (its a beautiful mod, which isnt too op) Mods that arent tech mods, but are really cool: Thaumcraft (beautiful and a alternative to endless simple crafting) Chisel (Many blocks i need for my buildings) Carpenters Blocks/ Architecturecraft (bring blocks to new shape) Biomes o' Plenty (makes the world a bit more coulourful and varied)
Favorite mod I never get to use because it's overshadowed: IC2 Most used tech mods: Storage of some kind (AE2 or RS) Thermal Expansion & all that comes with it Draconic evolution EnderIO Extra Utilities 2

Go to tech mods are ae2, draconic evoloution, thermal expansion, enderIO,extra utilities, openblocks, extreme reactors/big reactors, solarflux, mfr, tech mods I don’t use: ic2 mods I like that aren’t in a lot of packs: mekanism, compact machines, techguns, rotarycraft, reactorcraft known server killers: rotarycraft,reactorcraft, ICBM, agricraft sprinklers, projectE emc farms, rftools worlds, mods that are common but i don't use often but i enjoy: immersive engineering, buildcraft, rftools
Sadly never updated for 1.12.2. Also AE1 is no longer updated. Also Academycraft or something like it was in regrowth but also never updated past 1.7.10 [doublepost=1547080289,1547079563][/doublepost]@wyndman which is better on our network performance wise; AE2 Refined Storage Also, can I get a list of the biggest offenders (specific blocks or mods) that cause the most issue (non magic mods) in 1.12.2 for MYM please? Basically mods or specific blocks from mods that should not be required to progress through a mod pack?
AE2 unfortunately is much more server friendly. I prefer the simplicity of RS, but sadly it doesn't like multiplayer.
