Yeah I hadn't thought about the backlash from a youtuber's fans. That's a lot of time spent as well that we would otherwise be using to tend to the network itself.

 

Could you not create specific rules for YouTubers? Eg They can't join with the economy, give stuff to anyone or help anyone etc.

 

That would also require monitoring, extra rules mean extra work for staff. All that would be added is the rank if this were implemented, they would otherwise just be a regular player that would follow our established rules.

 

Well for a start we have their videos and you could hire some mods just for the youtubers

 

The idea of hiring mods to babysit youtubers is just kinda sad lol

Well MYM doesn't always have the luxury of just hiring a mod whenever they are short. All of the staff here are volunteer. So if nobody volunteers... then no new staff.
