I have been playing quite a bit with Chisel & bits on Beyond and one thing that I find anoying is that when using small pieces of lightgiving blocks they dont give off light, you need a set amount of them to get a steadily increasing light level. Now I have always loved hiding my light as I find most full light blocks ugly and rarely fit what im building so in older modpacks ive always used microblocks that would give full light but was far less visible. But after a quick google I found out there is a setting that can be changed, under "Balance Settings" find "Percentage of block for max light level". Changing this value to 0 will let even small amounts of light blocks give full light. Would this be a viable change to make to the server?
