Well, if you're looking for a way to incorporate combat magic, Thaumcraft is a good mod, with the large amounts of focii at the ready. However, if you're concerned with the overpowered armors, you can just disable the recipes.
Problem with the pack is it has "Mo Creatures". The permissions for that mod are really strict. I spoke with Slind briefly about it, possibly there is a work around. If so, im sure some day it will be up there.
Mo' creatures is like my favorite mod in it, but if it serves no purpose then I don't mind it being removed so that the modpack can be added to the Mym Launcher. Do you think you'll add any sethomes or anything in the test server? I just struggle too much without it.
e-mobile mod allows you to tp to players, spawn and your bed. The NPCs in those castles are meant to be harder, a lot harder. I will be tweaking them server side tomorrow. They were meant to have 100 health, but for some reason they still only have 20. I have increased their max level. Let me know if you notice a difference. I really want to get them right. Also i will look into how to make the neutral. In the configs there seems to be a "standings" settings, like if they are friend or foe and it looks like you can be friends with the "bad" NPC.
