Why should it be impossible to progress? It took as w days to get these things you say. Farm some toungsten gear and armor. Find some loot. 80% of the chest are not looted and ca 95% of the ore is still there.

 

a good blade will help, a copper shank will do nothing to those slimes.[DOUBLEPOST=1437046060][/DOUBLEPOST]have u seen what i said? once hardmode is in, even blue slimes have 247 health. toomuch for a starting player. and while tungsten is good, it wont happen if a cave bat kills u every 2 mins.

 

Its not hardmode. Disabled it

 

hardmode will be enabled eventualy, or people cant progress beyond the wall, which is when the fun really start, if you plan on limiting people to hellstone armor and a nights edge, good luck.

 

It is disabled for now. Yesterday it was hardmode for some time because a cheater killed the wall.

 

Terraria is not meant for more then a few players a map, so you need to ensure it still works.
If new players can never progress, why would they want to?

 

Precautions are already taken!

umm guys? i need heelp. i bought and installd terraria from steam, and every time i launch it, it says "please launch this game from your steam client" which is what ive been doing. any advise?

there is. you can delete ur claim and do it new. Or make the new points and use /redefine name

Does anybody have any method of obtaining terraria on mac (I have a legit copy in steam)? I cant find any working methods - I tried PlayOnMac program and the Terraria 1.3 Wrapper(beta)

 

solution: get a PC, cuz macs are not the best thing for hardcore gaming, if you want to play hardcore, PC is your best bet, if you do like 3D deisgn and rendering, keep the mac, or just have patience, or bother Skiphs to work faster

 

Im getting a PC abit soon but I wanna play it now
Also, I hate Windows with all my heart but yeah Windows is for gaming that's why I'm getting Windows- Also I got the mac unnoticed so I had to deal with it T_T I prefer Linux than Mac lol (Very flexible and good for people who know what they're doing)
But any real solutions rather than get a new PC - one reason is that my PC will be stationary and I can't move it alot
