Briefly looking at the MYM Server Stats, I see big packs like Attack of the C team and Thaumic skies with less players online having a MYM server... Or am I reading the chart wrong?

I'm just going to keep on posting stuff about CM and why it's beneficial, bumping the topic every now and then until I get any message from a member of MYM staff...

I'm not nagging anyone, I'm getting free publicity and better SEO by writing about CM on third-party forums anyway lol. Whenever someone asks me a question about CM I'm usually able to just send them a link to a specific post where I've already answered that question on this thread. :p

This is nero, visitors = installs:

I'm sorry but it is by far not popular enough for us to set it up with the human resources we have atm.

The issue is human resources not server hardware.

Just over 6 months now. I started contacting MYM around early January 2016 a couple of days before I joined this forum.

Again just looking at install figures and not retention rates. You can have a million installs a day but it means nothing if only a tiny percentage of those players keep coming back. Plus, you picked the pack that currently is the most popular on your network at the moment - which isn't exactly a fair comparison against a pack whose author has specifically stated that it has low recognition.

But those are speaking against craft mine?
This pack has been installed on 1075 clients and has been launched 4274 times. => 3.97
    36K DOWNLOADS 207K RUNS (excluding MyM Launcher) => 5.75

Now you're comparing retention rates from different popularity categories.

I'm certain you already know this as you run both popular and near-empty servers, but people are less likely to come back if the modpack isn't very popular or the server is empty/near-empty. Obviously if you compare a popular modpack that has full servers and lots of players who rely on each other, they are more likely to keep on coming back than a small modpack with a sample based on just a few players playing alone - who do not rely on anyone or have a desire to come back to play with other players also playing the pack.

It's like you're comparing a pack that has retention rates solely influenced by the modpack against a pack that has more influences, such as celebrity influences ("omg my favourite youtuber is playing that I should play that too and follow along!"), social influences ("my mates are playing this, I should keep playing with them even if I'm not enjoying this pack as much as I would've liked"), etc...

Setting up a new server with everything around it is around 8 hours + spawn building.
On top comes the maintenance which is always way higher with less popular mods. All the servers we currently have had been pretty popular during their prime time.
Servers with less than 1.5% players base are being considered for shot down every week. This includes:
    Tekkit Legends
    BeeHappy
    Revenge of the C-Team
    Civilization
    Pixelmon
    Thaumic Skies
    Hypovolemia

If we take the entire craft mine player base (reported by yampst) it would already be below the 1.5%. I do see it getting a small rush, but it will die off within a month and we usually don't setup server which we don't expect to live for at least half a year.
Our community is merely consistent out of hardcore modded minecraft players, having a pack which can be rushed through isn't something that gives retention with our community.
