Whereas if PVP is on, you just logout, wait until they're gone and run home.

So they dont play for 2days?
I dont think they would do this.
I think the people logging out would be the people with PvP on.... and that are scared to die.
And the people with PvP off would just stand there laughing at you...lol
    I know i would.

What you are saying is the people that want and vote for PvP on, would toggle PvE to avoid conflict? then wait 2days to do it again? Then whats the point to have PvP on again?

Just on this, I was probably wrong in thinking this, and the decision on PvP and KeepInventory would be very closely linked, especially considering the lack of plugins, since there is no way to prevent the stealing of items after being killed.

Not saying the people who want it would do that. Think first.

Resolute Ivy is banned in all current MyM servers with grave mechanics, I assume will be banned here in future as well, potentially causing the loss of those items.[DOUBLEPOST=1432905653][/DOUBLEPOST]
The people who don't want PvP wouldn't toggle it on in the first place.

PvP-Toggle wouldn't be useful either way - because there are items that are going to bypass it regardless.

I understand that effect but if you are that scared of losing gear then

    A. Go underground and use carpenters blocks to cover your tracks

    B. Deal with loss, Run, Build a base far away, Get geared, Mop the floor with your enemy

    C. Get their taglock and be a devil :)

Both of which are important items, since there are some mobs which are unkillable without ranged weaponry, and have too much health to be killed with a vanilla bow, so the debate on PVP is unnecessary.

Plus if PvP is disabled this pack will get boring pretty fast, AoA is fun bu boring, without PvP witchery will no doubt be banned although its more than a PvP mod, and whats the point of getting TT KAMI armour if there is no one to fight wth it,

But there is also no way to prevent items being stolen from corpses unless the mod includes that safeguard.

That's a risk you must take, You take what you kill is my mentality, unless they are a friend or lower geared.

if theyre lower geared i leave a sorry present

Since the majority of people want no stealing in any kind here, we will have to agree with that. If you do not like what most of the players agreed on, then play somewhere else or change your play style.

Then why have PvP to begin with PvP is a risk/reward system of i take a risk to take someone out then i should be able to loot

The server rules state thate we have no raiding and no griefing, how do you expect people to get their stuff back. Thinking a server where you can steal and hide your things in a base where no one is alowed to do anything is nonplayable for mostpeople.

Because in most cases it is no risk to kill somebody. The majority of endgame players can kill most people from outside their view with a single hit.
