Seems that only people using the MyM launcher can actually see the recipes in NEI, but people who are using the Technic launcher (which is most lol) can't see them.. even though the server still knows they should work, so if a player fills in the recipe and clicks the empty output slot then the crafting operation will still work and the item will then appear.

Which seems weird, cause the custom MyM recipe for the tier 2 rocket schematic shows up for people using Technic launcher just fine, so idk why my recipes aren't :/

Can you check again if it shows up on technic launcher? (/mt reload)

Command runs fine, but recipes still don't show up.[DOUBLEPOST=1444732688][/DOUBLEPOST]Okay, now that I actually have the technic launcher installed, I just checked the mods folder and it appears the technic launcher version doesn't have minetweaker at all, so no wonder it's not showing up!

Hm, I moved it into the same file like the galacticraft schematics.

I don't know if the guy who told me he could see the rocket schematic recipe was checking the wrong thing, but that recipe doesn't show up for me using technic launcher either.. though like I said, after checking the mods folder the technic version doesn't even have minetweaker installed.

I've put a visual representation of the crafting recipes using item frames at spawn (in the convenient little hut that is right behind where you spawn) along with signs explaining that the recipe won't appear to work, but that if they click the empty output slot it will still craft okay, soI guess that will have to be good enough, and people who want to see the recipe will just have to switch to the MyM launcher lol ;)

Oh okay, completely forgot that bteam doesn't have minetweaker as default.

Im sure this is a really basic question... but how exactly does minetweaker work? is it the codeing behind the game? like html code, (I know nothing about writing/understanding code) any suggestions on how best to educate myself on this?

Minetweaker is an api that lets you add/remove/change recipes using code in a specific format, so using my own code as an example:
If you read the code above it basically says to add a shaped recipe for the ender backpack (the exact item names you need to use can be obtained with nei or with an in-game command while holding the item) using the items listed inside the sets of [square brackets]
