I few other players and myself have noticed that there are only about 5 biomes. Crag, Rocky Steepe, Snowy Beach, Mountain, and Wasteland. Is there any reason as to why this is?
thats odd, the bop config: Code: #################### # biomes to generate #################### "biomes to generate" { B:Alps=true B:Arctic=true B:AutumnHills=true B:Badlands=true B:BambooForest=true B:Bayou=true B:BirchForest=true B:Bog=true B:BorealForest=true B:Brushland=true B:Canyon=true B:Chaparral=true B:CherryBlossomGrove=true B:ConiferousForest=true B:ConiferousForestSnow=true B:Crag=true B:DeadForest=true B:DeadForestSnow=true B:DeadSwamp=true B:Deadlands=false B:DeciduousForest=true B:Dunes=true B:Fen=true B:Field=true B:FrostForest=true B:FungiForest=true B:Garden=true B:Glacier=true B:Grassland=true B:Grove=true B:Heathland=true B:Highland=true B:HotSprings=true B:IcyHills=true B:JadeCliffs=true B:LavenderFields=true B:LushDesert=true B:LushSwamp=true B:Mangrove=true B:MapleWoods=true B:Marsh=true B:Meadow=true B:Mesa=true B:Moor=true B:Mountain=true B:MysticGrove=true B:Oasis=true B:OminousWoods=true B:Orchard=true B:OriginValley=true B:Outback=true B:OvergrownGreens=true B:Pasture=true B:Polar=false B:Prairie=true B:Quagmire=true B:Rainforest=true B:RedwoodForest=true B:SacredSprings=true B:Savanna=true B:Scrubland=true B:SeasonalForest=true B:Shield=true B:Shrubland=true B:Silkglades=true B:Sludgepit=true B:SpruceWoods=true B:Steppe=true B:TemperateRainforest=true B:Thicket=true B:Timber=true B:TropicalRainforest=true B:Tropics=true B:Tundra=true B:Volcano=true B:Wasteland=true B:Wetland=true B:Woodland=true } the atg config: # ATG Configuration file I don´t see what could cause this. Only that we got a corrupted seed if that is possible.
It seems like most of the map is Crag or Rocky Steppe. Thaumcraft is impossible beyond Tier 1 without a magical forest.
Yeah, i've been /rting around for about an hour now and Crag and Rocky Steppe are pretty much the dominant biomes..
I did both rt and run around. I cant find a spot to make a base that I can stand to look at for a few weeks. Guess ill have to put in a few more hours of searching tomorrow and thru the weekend.
The random teleport is configured that you only spawn on grass and sand. I haven't added some blocks of the new biomes. If someone want to create a list with block ID's of the biomes then he can do this and I will add it.
On ftbs site it said the worldgen issue was a typo, they updated to 13 to fix it and removed 12 Any way to fix it on the server?
ohh damn. I don´t see an easy fix. What we can do is this. I setup a 1.0.13 server and let the world generate, if it looks fine I let it generate with a 4.8k worldborder, when it is done I add it as another world and everyone moves his stuff to the new world.[DOUBLEPOST=1391107550,1391107223][/DOUBLEPOST]Edit: there is only one problem, the protection is saved in flatfiles and the world is defined in each file not a folder or something like this. So I have to try if it is possible to push it to mysql that I can use sql to search and replace or we need to write a small script which does this. Do we have someone with regex experience.
I do 3d cad work, ill be of no use to you. Programing might as well be latin, i understand both the same
Here are some blocks I found while running around trying to find a swamp. grass 2 dirt 3 cobblestone 4 sand 12 gravel 13 oak leaves 18 spruce leaves 18:1 birch leaves 18:2 jungle leaves 18:3 limestone 195 crag rock 253 red rock 162
I only add blocks who only on the surface, so dirt, gravel and limestone can be found in the underground. The trees are not needed. Whats with the crag rock and red rock, are they only on the surface?
