I few other players and myself have noticed that there are only about 5 biomes. Crag, Rocky Steepe, Snowy Beach, Mountain, and Wasteland. Is there any reason as to why this is?

I don´t see what could cause this. Only that we got a corrupted seed if that is possible.

It seems like most of the map is Crag or Rocky Steppe. Thaumcraft is impossible beyond Tier 1 without a magical forest.

I felt like /rt was only taking me to the same spots.

The random teleport is configured that you only spawn on grass and sand. I haven't added some blocks of the new biomes.
If someone want to create a list with block ID's of the biomes then he can do this and I will add it.

On ftbs site it said the worldgen issue was a typo, they updated to 13 to fix it and removed 12

Any way to fix it on the server?

There is only one way... Another map reset with 1.0.13.

ohh damn. I don´t see an easy fix. What we can do is this. I setup a 1.0.13 server and let the world generate, if it looks fine I let it generate with a 4.8k worldborder, when it is done I add it as another world and everyone moves his stuff to the new world.[DOUBLEPOST=1391107550,1391107223][/DOUBLEPOST]Edit: there is only one problem, the protection is saved in flatfiles and the world is defined in each file not a folder or something like this. So I have to try if it is possible to push it to mysql that I can use sql to search and replace or we need to write a small script which does this. Do we have someone with regex experience.

I only add blocks who only on the surface, so dirt, gravel and limestone can be found in the underground. The trees are not needed. Whats with the crag rock and red rock, are they only on the surface?
