Wither Skulls can be obtained in the fortress... But the major thing is still the blazes, I think. It can be a right pain to collect the materials needed to make an Angry Doll to generate a blaze.[DOUBLEPOST=1420225385,1420225334][/DOUBLEPOST]Oh, by the way, will tabbychat be added to the server? I like being able to track different conversations with it.

 

If you use the MyM launcher then tabbychat is installed

 

I had Tabbychat installed last night through the ATLauncher (Manually installed), but apparently the server has to have it for it to work. Did they recently put it on the server?

 

You can also get a .jar file which doesn't require the liteloader

That Being said, i have to agree with @Bennyboy1695 here on less strain.
The current way to get lava can cause a bit of strain.
You pipe cobble into a crucible then pipe out the lava. But to have a decent set up will take a lot of these. A lot more then throwing down a pump.

Lava is the only reason i can think of that made Bacon_Donut turn it into a void.

Wither skulls- Place Witch water in your mob farm, when skellies touch it, they turn.

Blaze rods- you can spawn blazes with a barrel. i forgot the exact procedure but i know you can

Nether wart- sieving soul sand

 

Ultimately its the servers call. I know personally im going to make my Lava Gen set up in the nether.... even if its void.
This way i reduce lag on my island and strain on the over world.

Say, would it be possible for people to turn in two tesseracts and a pump to get a tesseract connected to a creative lava source? That would definitely reduce strain for the people who can afford it, and get people to do what they can to get there, since it means a lot less space taken up.

 

People would be anle to share the output to other people without pumps. They just take the unlimited lava pump it in to an public tesseract

 

But that lava is only "unlimited" in that they keep making more, which also requires them to either be online or have a chunk loader there. Infinite means it never runs out, not even for a little bit, making it different.

 

This would be abused. A server never wants to implement an Unlimited Creative source of items/fluids like this.

 

I've actually seen servers do it, and make it work nicely. Can't you set the output rate on tesseracts? If a moderator or admin puts the tesseract down, and keeps control over its rate, that would be a good way of preventing abuse.

its too easy to make lava in this pack. its literally Cobbles stone in a barrel with a (torch, lava, or fire) under it.
Getting lava isnt the issue.
I dont think a "public" lava source is needed
