Not Possible Forever Stranded Lost souls server

Switch the Forever Stranded server to Forever Stranded Lost Souls server?

    I was wondering if its time to switch the forever stranded server to the newer (and better in my opinion) version of the mod pack called Forever Stranded Lost Souls. The first pack is now old and has a small quest line unlike the new pack.

    The forever stranded Lost Souls modpack is a 1.12 modpack, and currently we are not working on hosting 1.12 servers (as 1.10 servers are still not stable and ironed out, how well do you think 1.12 will handle :p)

    While we may not host this a public server, the idea of a patron server has not been ruled out, and you are welcome to sponsor one.

    Hey guys, this post is a little old but I think it is on topic now since we do have some 1.12 minecraft servers. Is there any plans on making a forever stranded lost souls server? I would love to play this one out

    There are currently no plans to release this pack. If it did see the light of day it would be as a patron only server due to the nature of the world gen for this one. Like Forever Stranded it relies on an entirely custom made map which would not work in a large multiplayer environment. It was designed for solo or small team play on that map. While we could possibly include the areas surrounding the ship as an "island" copying the entire world into sections for play would be a much more difficult challenge. We modified Forever Stranded significantly for multiplayer and the reception was a bit lukewarm, and took months of testing to get it to the position it was in at launch.

    Having spoken to GWSheridan several times about the multiplayer possibility of the original Forever Stranded it was never his intention to make it a multiplayer map, Lost Souls he went a step forward and made room for teams. In his next yet to be named modpack maybe we will see a multiplayer friendly modpack, only time will tell!
