    As for structures, would a seperate version of the world be used for player "islands" and another be reset weekly with the cities?

    sand isn't the only thing around. there's the oxygen, your ship, yourself, other people, the contents of your ship, mobs... lol.

    FS is a little different, GWSheridan made a custom map, rather than have something that just looks similar. So it isn't a matter of going through a nether portal to find a city, there is another way.

    first thing i did on crash landing was dig up tons of blocks and make a nice big trump wall haha
    [doublepost=1495209108][/doublepost]not to mention said large trump wall was ~6 blocks high at some points... yeah i made certain spiders wouldn't see me anywhere.

    i have optifine, shader pack, and foamfix on beyond, and my laptop ( a laptop!!) get's somewhere around 16-20 fps. yeah. pretty decent.
