mym was the first sever i ever played on so i know what its like and if i just started and got killed all the time i would of quite and not really because this is a good pack and i think it will bring people to mym whitch is good. also why should we not give new players a protection for the first few hours at least

However, there should always be ways to skip noob protection premature for those who want to bite into the beef instant
like a command for example /skipnoobmode and have it so they get 100 myms for doing it in the first day
I am for grave looting. If you don't want new players to die and lose their stuff then easy workaround will be MASSIVE sign with warning or chat dialog they would have to confirm. When I first joined Civilization only one who killed me was nature and myself. I think that mobs are more dangerous than other players and much more common.
I for an instance really loved the anarchy server, although I got to restart a few times because my base got nuked... I nuked a fair share of bases also :-D It was really fun to use every trick on the book to hide your base. At one point we moved to the spirit world just to be safe, I wrote a computercraft programm for a turtle to locate other player, or we did setup trapped chest to get players witchery taglocks to summon or curse them. I never had that much fun with minecraft.

I didn't even know spawn had RT pads. I just ran out into the world until I found a place that I thought was nowhere near claimed land... Now I'm like west of some bigwig mansion that I somehow didn't notice beforehand.
i only saw for farm world. though theres supposed to be 4 teleports now to 1500 blocks out in the cardinal directions for the overworld
without pvp and looting the grave everything will be too easy, and nobody would even dare to leave their home, if so, travel with only stuff youre gonna use, so i would say, grave loot, yes
Khry, any idea if my suggested system would work? (On PvP Death, items go to a 'Lost and Found' type merchant, who you must buy them back from for idk, 50 MyMs, or however much you decide. I would stick around 100 or less, but yeah) It'd take a custom mod or something, but it'd be pretty neat.
How do you suggest this becomes possible? There may be a mod i can use that "locks" graves unless PvP kill. Think it was RPGLoot, but what your asking, i have not seen before. Are you planing on coding this plug in?
