The world is small and there are waypoints, so oregen won't be a problem.

the 100 of each drop is a pain over all. on one of the official servers we ended up making a passive mob spawner since they were so rare.

as far as I know it works fine, the only real issue i came across on the official server was the minoshrooms not spawning in. however i don't know if this issue is unique to that server or not.

Also, to prevent mob despawning on restart:
    1. Kick everyone and de-initialize the chunkloader plugin 30 sec. before restart
    2. Let the chunks unload.
    3. ???
    4. Profit.

To my memory, mob despawns on restart were rare compared to during general chunk load/unloads in 1.7.10 versions.

    IDK then.
Doesn't change the fact that this bug needs a fix.

I'm not a big fan of having to do upkeep on your machines. What is it that you have to upkeep on them? The machine itself or an object you put in the machine?

basically you have a hatch, that you right click and has a slot, that you can either use duct tape, or the individual tools, then you leave it, eventually it will require again and you just repeat (its not like a minute btw you could easily go a week without needing to do it again.)

Do you have any experience with auto maintenance hatch? It seems quite interesting even though it requires few millions of EU to fix the problems (if you want to have it without having to mine).

Can you please add option "No!"? Some players may like gregtech but they don't like the modpack.

    Thank you very much.
I like the modpack, but not everyone might like it, so I want that their vote isn't take as vote against the gregtech and the modpack, but only as a vote against the modpack.

So far you hit all of my concerns from where I am in the pack. Between the water and the ore issue I'm sure this will become a giant mess in the farmworld before the week is out. I've done more mining now then I have even in vanilla looking to hit a vein to mine out.

I had the issue of spawning in the middle of basically flat land for ~1000 blocks in all directions, ended up having to spawn myself in some tin after around an hour searching hills, about 10 minutes of which was spent flying around in creative with a 15x15 chunk scanner. While this could potentially be mitigated by allowing some restricted trading on the server, that would have to be largely goodwill based as few players at that stage would have much of value to offer for the stack or so of tin that is needed.

On another note, it might be worthwhile to put a big flashing warning on the railcraft steam boilers not to build their water supplies across chunk boundaries. Big explosions can happen in otherwise valid setups if loading gets messed up.
