But things like the redstone torch, redstone block, both types of pistons, how does it make sense not to give them one if you can just pull the sum of their parts out and craft them up, with no alt recipes besides colored cobble that cost more? I just know them not having recipes causes so many other recipes not to have emc's

I would vote against this. in fact, I would vote for disabling the modpack altogether. Market prices are just stupid for anything that has EMC value. Nether Stars are worth less than a diamond block. Invulnerability armor is just a matter of time. It has nothing to do science or magic. And as alchemy, it's waaay too simple and forgiving. And will be as long as you can convert rotten flesh/cobble to iron/diamonds/emeralds.

For anyone that says: "It's a part of the pack, just deal with it."... I'm doing that now. Building a space station and developing your industry should require a bit more than just waiting a little. Currently, this is the case. I would prefer it to stay that way.

EE was meant to be played without cobblegens MkIII, portable spawners and automatic tree farms. If you make that sorts of things in vanilla, you deserve those diamonds.

 

pahimar plays on a server with soaryn, who made the monstrosity of 1 octuple compressed per HOUR of playtime, you got that? pahimar very well knows whats going on here, and it's possible to make a 100% automated treefarm in vanilla minecraft lol

How about removing EMC values from useless/EasyToObtain blocks/items?
