    these are about 3k inactive claims and I would calculate the time to 30 seconds per claim = 25 hours of work, without even considering the unclaimed stuff :(

    that map tells me why I could not find any one living in the topics there are maybe 10 active players with claims there not one of them vary big.

    So there are about 350 region files. One region can be cleared in about 2-30 minutes depending on how messy it is.

    I guess clearing the claims and //regen would be a better idea then.

    Maybe a select few should be selected for doing this?

    But a clean 100% restart with 1.7 mods would be fun and would bring more people in. I would not add mods to the pack unless it helps with lag, bugs, and unban items. (or if the mod is 1000% needed to help the pack)

    I played around a bit and already regenerated and deleted claims in 10 regions (32x32 chunks) but it takes a lot of time and some mines are still mined empty. What would you think about a new world that looks the same and we copy the region files from big buildings over and players that just started or don't mind rebuilding their base can carry it over. This would give us a new world, would allow copying entire region files which does solve terrain issues and lower the work on resetting claims to these regions. -> All claims have to be recreated by the owner again, so we get rid of the old claims, too.

    What about 1.7.2 mods. Or is that the same as 1.7.10?[DOUBLEPOST=1408374389,1408374170][/DOUBLEPOST]I like the idea of the same new world. No one would know the difference between same new or new new world. (and I can keep my base and the boat)

    That sounds great Slind. The refresh would be good and I'm sure people won't have any problems with that. If it means fresh resources but we still get to keep our projects then that would be awesome. The big places are amazing and are inspiring too for new people to see what they can achieve. I think it will encourage people to play too if they have the chance to find a decent place to claim.

    Maybe we can link some of the cool places (the tiny boat and skull) at spawn so people can see them. When I see a cool build, it gives me ideas.
