Should flower Withering be enabled, and if so how often?

after reading the manual it seems that flowers are "withering"
also got several reports/complains about that
    could we disable that?
    Code:
    	# Set to anything other than -1 for passive generation flowers (dayblooms, nightshades, hydroangeas) to die after a specific amount of ticks. 24000 is 2 Minecraft days, that's a recomended value.
    	I:passiveWither.time=24000
    u can see break particles

Well considering it became enabled after the infinity servers were updated to the new version, I would assume it is now the default config option in the newer version of botania/infinity.. meaning either vazkii intends for it to be that way or the FTB team does... and server owners then have the option to disable it if they want to let people continue playing on easy mode..

yes, but i shouldn't be forced to spend thousands of resources to automate production of the flowers just to have an O.K. stable supply of mana, i feel like thats a change that should be undone now :/

it's not even a challenge, it's been done really easily before, it's a nuance, i shouldn't have to be stricken to slow mana generation if i don't want to have them autoprocessed

Like I said, if Vazkii or the FTB team intentionally changed the default configs to be this way, then yes you SHOULD be forced to if you want to play infinity (which you don't even play any more anyway if im not mistaken?)..

Also as stated it only affects the 3 PASSIVE generation flowers.. all the others are unaffected so this config is just intended to make the early game a bit more challenging but once you get to Thermalilys or Endoflames it no longer matters if you early game mana gen begins to wither once you have some better generating flowers to take over.

OH, this makes more sense, i still don't think that having the worst flowers that take forever to get the other ones going should wither off and die, you can't get super mana generation as easily as you should if your flowers are dying halfway through your use of them :/

But that is my point.. in infinity 1.8.2 it is turned ON by default.. so a vote for No would be a vote to ignore how the FTB team intends infinity to be played..

what i also want to know is, what flowers are affected by it
    the config says "passive"
yet all of my botania flowers were gone
was that the update or are actually ALL affected by it?

I still had some Endoflames and one 1 rose arcana. All my hydros and day blooms are gone, which where mostly floating flowers which kinda sucks.
