this is a Single player pack. The difficulty gets harder over time, to the point an chicken can one shot you. also it has Project E which is horrible for balance on servers due to many EMC dupe bugs. Yes, i would like to play the new released Modpack "The Dark Trilogy" too. This modpack is very balanced and i like it more than Direwolf20. I know we have many new 1.7.10 Server´s and this is another modpack of many, but maybe we can run it as replacement for the german-server "TPPI" (and make this server also only german).
TPPI replacement should be "Beyond Reality" or "Resurrection"(when released) "The Dark Trilogy" is more like better Direwolf "Wanderlust" or "Mechanical Titian" is more of a Monster replacement. UMS2 : Ultra Modded-Survival 2 - Technic Platform is more of a B-Team replacement. This pack can actually replace both monster and Bteam Above are just my opinions
UMS 2 is much to similar to modsauce in my opinion basically has different mods that do the same things it is not really all that similar to monster but definitely is to Bteam, yes I know it has mods like IC2 instead of mek but those mods have a kind-of old school feel and wont really make it seem like a 1.7.10 pack also it runs many outdated mods such as AE1 hence why I am saying it is too similar to 1.7.2 packs just my opinion feel fre to totally disregard as in some ways this could be the goal basically transfering a 1.7.2 pack to 1.7.10

This pack looks quite interesting and could possibly be a good replacement for bteam ATLauncher - Natural Magic
Ums2 wouldn't be a good replacement , it's too techy to replace bteam. Might be a good replacement for monster though
its a mix of both, it has all the magic mods and things like fossils from B-Team, Then Tech for monster players. Having too many packs is not good imo. One Pack to rule them all....lol I would hold off on "too" many packs untill FTB releases there 1.7 packs. hopefully soon...lol Im really looking forward to them
But the more packs means more variety so therefor more players. Also we don't want too many packs containing big amounts of mods , they use to much resources otherwise
i guess that works as a "small" pack, only mod in there that i hate personally is Project E, it is so broken. There are many EMC loops you can pretty much dupe anything. It looks like a decent lite pack. I expect the 1.7.10 FTB packs to also be similar. While its good to have more servers of different packs, Its bad to have too many servers that lower performance because of them.
In a way it can but its missing the heavy Tech mods like Rotory craft(mot used much in 1.7) or Mekenism. along with mods like Magic crops and mob mods like lycanite. I still think UMS2 would be a better replacement for monster. it is a "monster" pack....lol The Dark Trilogy is modified to be harder progression wise. Recipes changed...ect. In a way its like TPPI without GT...lol. But i was told today that TPPI 2 is in the works
I dont think a pack like this should be "only german" This will be a very popular pack. Its DW20 on steroids....lol Im really looking forward to playing this pack if MyM opens it up
Its one of the most Stable and Balanced packs that are out right now. and with 153 mods its not a "tiny" pack
oh yeah and TDT has all mods that i need I would be very happy if TDT soon appear on the MyM-Network.
