a vpn is independent of your IP address, for some reason routing through the orange ISP's servers seems to destroy the connection to the server, this gets around that

Cyberghost is ok or if you are willing to pay you can use Hotspot shield, it's working pretty well, there is a free version to try too

Btw @SirWill , I did contact them but they were completely helpless, asking me to check thing on my side, I guess it's the way the modem software is built and call-center has no clue how it is built, so yeah no help.

Also, Pia is not working, and cyberghost is not that great from my test, laggy and some disconnects
