    But the cat in the pic isn't being observed while moving as it is just a still picture not a video, there is no way for us to observe the direction of its movement without additional frames.

    And yes, I know there is supposed to be an Umlaut in the name but do you really think I can be bothered to copy and paste in special characters like that‽

    Its Facing down, you can tell my the texture of the stairs. The top part of most stairs are smooth.
    Also what stairs do you know of that have a lip...lol
