Ok that's probably a bug due to the way you're starting the launcher, it somehow picks the wrong version. Mind telling u how you do it? Meanwhile, enter "/usr/lib/jvm/java-8-oracle" into the JVM path field. That should make it pick the right version for launching minecraft.
So it seams that deleting the cofg file does not get the launcher to find the newest update (fixed launched it in java 8) - still have the same error 134 even though I'm am running in Java 8 runtime Other details; - runs from a short cut that had to given special permissions to be executable - downloaded strait form web-sight (no commands used)[DOUBLEPOST=1431135814][/DOUBLEPOST] you just have to change the program that launches it from java 7 to java 8[DOUBLEPOST=1431136112][/DOUBLEPOST]
No... This is the error I get with the path added in. Btw gets to the same point in start-up. [12:42:37] [Client thread/INFO] [WAILA Plugins]: Successfully loaded plugin for harvestcraft. Turns out Hard Force Update and Reinstall are two completely different things. Delete the files, every last one of them, for the instances that are giving you trouble, and reinstall from scratch. This will not only ensure that the Config files are reset, but everything is reset, even the things that the HFU ignores, which may be the problem.
So essencially what you are getting me to do is to re install the MYM launcher?? or the whole folder for the modpack. because you keep confusing me with two things e.t.c. "delete file's evey one of them ... for the instances" Btw there is only one instance[DOUBLEPOST=1431227447][/DOUBLEPOST] later i also got this error
