    That was from The Dark Trilogy, but seems to be all vanilla/thaumcraft items, so probably the same on all packs. I'll write a script to dump their names.

    only problem i really have is that you can't sell soul fragments, some people are willing to sell them, most people don't want to lose the hearts, so it's really good cash, (1.5k myms+ per soul)

    For the four step rule, there are two special cases which haven't been adressed yet:
    1) Materials like platinum/shiny, which are created as byproducts in machines like the pulverizer. Does this also count as one step or do we have to look at the single steps here? Also, is the creation of alloys considered to be a separate step?
    2) What about the machinery and energy used in the steps? some materials are only obtainanly using higher-tier setups, but you could argue they're creating them from basic mats. Aspecially the IC2 UU-Matter-System is something I'd consider problematic here. But there might be others I'm just not aware of, so we might need a general rule.

    I think we should also have a poll option as a motion to
    Platinum can appear in world gen. Therefore it counts as 0 steps imo.

    One step at least if w're talking about the ingots... I can't remember ever finding any platinum ore, but maybe I simply wasn't lucky. Anyways the general principle applies to more materials, this was simply the first example I could think of.

    Actually, we should probably state that spawning in dungeon loot chests does not count as naturally spawned, as there are quite a few items you'd get overly easy that way.

    I think they should count as 0 step items since you can find them in world gen. There is loads of opportunity to get dungeon loot.

    So, you'd consider eg. iridium as 0 steps cause it can be found sometimes in dungeon chests?

    Yes, and its a non-issue, since things made from it take so many steps to make otherwise that they'll be unable to be sold anyways.

    Not allowed:
    • Any item bound to a player
      • Gaia 2 drops
      • Blood magic bound items
    • Any item locked to a specific player
      • Sir will tanks
      • locked tesseracts
      • sigils
      • relics

    Agreed, not having such a rule just opens up a world of pain and potential abuse.
    Also, anything that drops from Gaia or Gaia2 needs to be on the list as its endgame of endgame of endgame botania stuff.

    UU matter is a liquid now. If your able to scan the items and replicate them, you wouldn't need to buy UU.[DOUBLEPOST=1433875073][/DOUBLEPOST]Also the Smelting of ores with a Hammer counts as a step?

    Iridium is fine to be sold as in addition to finding it in loot chests you can also mine it in the nether, thus it is a part of basic worldgen, it's just rarer than most other ores.
    Yes that counts as a step, it's a step that your auto-smelting tool takes for you but a smelting operation has still occurred nonetheless.
