So I was looking around youtube and came across a youtuber playing this mod pack. It's like skyblock but its underground. Its for 1.12 and seems pretty neat. Overview - StoneBlock - Modpacks - Projects - Minecraft CurseForge Youtube video im referring to:
looks intresting but how would that work in multiplayer? modpacks that need exploration are hard to implement
I think it looks really nice and it's a rather cool take on the Skyblock mods. I'm not sure how well it would work on servers though. There is also this concern: (from the Curseforge page) "This is not a lightweight pack". Plus let's hope they fix the loot chests heh.
Someone suggested this a few weeks back, give it a read here. I personally haven't played it so I can't give my opinion on it but theres a few staff who have who have commented on the post I linked.
I have been playing this pack a bit in SP, and while the idea is interesting, it plays quite similar to SF3 or PO Lite. Even some of the later recipes look similar. It is more or less a kitchen sink pack. However, if you enjoy these then it might be a good pack. The dev doesnt make much out of the Stoneblock theme though. You punch stone to get pebbles, to make cobble and a crafting table. Hammer down cobble to dirt, crook dirt to get saplings. The rest is standard.
