Oh allright. Sadly that sounds a bit like not much can be done then. Thanks for caring though.

Not at all. You gotta remember 2 TPS also means everything is 10x slower than it should be. Since the goal of modded MC is often to automate
everything and then wait for things to happen/build while it's happening, 2 TPS means that you need to spend 10h in the game to get what you should get in 1h. That's a big no, I'd trade ping any day for TPS :D

All entities are equal in TPS ;).
Also, 2TPS is the last point at which you are able to mine something or hit entities in a reasonable amount of time with diamond tools (unless you can instabreak the block, which allows you to play even if the server is at sub-1 TPS).

Edit: Also, we are talking about ~9 sec of ~3tps vs ~2.5 sec of 0TPS, not the server being at 2TPS the whole time.

Was playing on node 3 alone, went to spawn and sat for a good half an hour and the TPS would still dip to 2 TPS every once in a while.
This is a bit far fetched but I really wonder if there is something in spawn causing problems.

I actually wondered that too bc the chunk in spawn which has the lava room would randomly show up on our TPS radar. We threw around the idea but not much came from it unfortunately.

Isn't the lava room just a creative tank linked to an ender tank?

Can I propose we try moving spawn to a chunk with nothing in it for an hour or two and see if that helps?
That would disable the lava but I would much rather deal without that for a little while and see if the current spawn building is causing lag.

Is this still an issue? I was on node 3 for 5 minutes and didn't experience frequently lag spikes.

It seems to be all the nodes, but we get more tickets and forums posts for nodes 1 and 3.

I believe it's still a problem because we still get tickets, just got another today.

It appears NOT to be TPS lag but random block lag every few minutes lasting several seconds and happening throughout the day, regardless if 1 person is online or 10. It is similar to the lag that happened on Bteam, so it could be a memory leak.

If im the only one online and im sitting in spawn I will get block lag that makes everything unresponsive for up to a full 10 seconds.
Using /tps will say the tps is at 2 or lower.
I play in node 3 and that's where I get the lag.
It stays the exact same even right after a restart.

    EDIT:
Put a stopwatch infront of me and hit mark every time I experienced lag.
I get a lag spike that lasts anywhere from 2-7 seconds every 1-5 minutes.
Not game breaking but it is extremely annoying.

Hm, just checked again and this time I experienced lag spikes which seem to be caused by ElecCore.

I just confirmed today that this is still and issue. There is constant TPS lag spikes and block lag on all the AoE servers. Profiling does not show anything.

Confirming the issue is still present. Server was fine before the restart just now. Then it all went downhill... now TPS fluctuates between 2 and 20 every so many seconds with just me and 1 other player online. (Node 1)

So what was causing the chunks to load and unload all the time?
