I agree, I find Thaumcraft annoying, since it's in nearly every modpack.

Bevo was one of the first packs, that is the main reason we selected it. And I don't think it's that boring, you can spend a lot of time with it. The only "advantage" of most of the other posted packs here is that they have gregtech in it, nothing more. (And greg didn't manage to get the fusion reactor working on 1.7 yet, so the pack is not... that interesting atm)

I don't plan on keeping hqm enabled on any 1.7.10 until they fix the serious bugs with saves taking ages and data corruption.

How can smaller packs have all the mods bevo has and more? Which mods are missing in bevo? The thing I like about the bevo pack is that recipes get changed to make the different mod resource levels even another thing is that it is frequently updated.

the thing is, @Padson and I played a few hours a day and we now have nearly unlimited resources, our a2 runs on 3 full controller and we can autocraft like every item from every major mod.
u can progress way to fast with this pack. also there is thaumcraft, but no addons with items which would really matter. There is Galaxycraft but no galaxy planets.
the only thing that was a minor setback is: the disabled quarry recipe. but well u can always build urself a digiminer, set him to ores, and lean back.

flux galaxy for example has way better progression.
On bevo, we had a digital miner after 4 hours and creative flight after 6. at that point, everything else was a formality.
On flux galaxy u have to go to the moon -> defeat the moon boss.
then go to the mars, defeat the mars boss, and then search asteroids for resources before u can get ur digiminer or the angelrings for creative flight.
that would take u significantly longer to get endgame gear. u cant even make ur first me system before u went to the moon.
that's innovation and not just another pack.

Sadly non of these mods had big changes from their 1.6.4 little brothers. (except the thaumcraft vis system maybe)

knoxz don't just give up just because you have everything. I have 4 times ore processing and like 2 chest full of ores and a digiminer but i have not play with all the mods even if they did't change a lot you should try playing with the mods before saying i beat the game n_n

It gets boring doing things over, and over, and over, especially challenging things.
Not everyone likes the same things.

I'm currently working on a really huge project on BTP, and as soon as I get to write the presentation I'll start hiring people to help me building it :) so if you're bored...
