The original pack maker Tfox has handed the pack over to Gideonseymour. Gideon is the same pack maker that made the vampire blood money packs and Pheonix reborn. In one of his first update he remove Ender IO and Fluxdicts .

I asked him on FTB what his plans are an he replied

So like i said in my Previous post, leave them disabled till the next update. He does plan to re enable them, but with a much harder progression.

do you remember how often the EIO condutis took top of the profiles? those things are like 100x worse than the TE fluxducts,
don't get me started on BC robots man

However, this would become pretty expensive, since you would have to use 1 Emerald and 1 Diamond for each 8 pipes. That would be quite a mass for heavily overclocked turbines. Also, BigReactor has a bug with BC, that The Emeraldpipes wont connect to the powerport

kewl. Cane I see the jvm profile screenshot of this testing? Otherwise... meh

Could you post a link to the bug report from the big reactor or buildcraft githubs? Preferable one that is confirmed.[DOUBLEPOST=1433543850][/DOUBLEPOST]
We are not talking about robots. And yeah, they are pretty bad.

he was talking about how laggy BC is, by that i meant that BC robots are really laggy compared to most of just BC

True, but I believe that we are discussing the pipes at the moment, not the robots.

There is no Bugreport i know on the github, but it happens on this server network. The Pipes don't understand the Blockupdates if you either shutdown the reactor or on server restart. They need to be replaced to function again. Similar problem with CC computers, requiring a reboot after serverrestarts.

Try to use creative stuff. It may make the pack more fun and challenging. Maybe even try to move power using batteries that get transported or something. You'll be 100% more proud of the system you made. :D

And when the pack updates you have your conduits back anyway.

    No big report
No bug report and/or no forum post about it = not an issue.

You have no documentation about this bug you say happens. All we have to go off of is your word this is a common occurrence. If it was as common as you say then somebody somewhere would have reported it.

Basically all I have seen here is people want those pipes because the are easier or pretty.

Energycells --> more expensive, still less output than conduits :)

Ender IO banks are much faster than the conduits. And it'll store the power too :D
More expensive, yes. But aren't you going to make a storage to put the power either way?

Using ComputerCraft a storage is not neccessairy since you can simple make the most efficient settings for your reactor, preventing an Energy overflow, only producing energy if needed.

Well, then make 1 of those biggest capacitors. If you can make a big Reactor with cc I'm sure you can make atleast 1 cap bank.
If not, use the other mentioned trick. Give it a try ;)

I don't have any problems with the capacitor banks or the ressources needed. My previous setup involved twenty to thirty vibrant capacitor banks with 5 turbines and 4 Reactors. However, the enderI/O conduits are much cheaper and much more early game. However, i think that this discussion is missing the point of the thread and not really neccessary
