Pixelmon would have to be open, I can't see this driving more patrons in. Minecraft at its heart is still about building and surviving, regardless of the pack, even a pixelmon has these aspects. Players can relax in all sorts of packs, and they can and do roleplay you just might not see it, but some of the more established packs have entire towns built together, but speaking of roleplaying.. we're working on it.. Skyblocks vs Landbased is just how the packs have been coming out, this is the ebb and flow of design. There's plenty of packs in development that are world based, but they might not be server friendly or developed enough to launch yet.
Not only was there constant arguments with the players during it's highly active period -the first month.. there was internal arguing with former staff members discussing claim management over public structures like pokecenters and that sort of thing. Players would constantly grief each other, block off dungeons etc.
