The AE2 starter kit states that it gives a power cell. However when bought no power cell is given.

Is there a reason this is not available?

Have forked out for this so would appreciate any assistance on this.

There are Mekanism Energy cells in the pack.

Leadstone energy cells retain 400k RF. Alternative options could be to offer a mekanism basic energy cube (800k rf) or a AE2 energy cell (200k RF).

However the cube is used to complete a quest though it is currently bugged and uncompletable

As a follow up, the advanced kit also offers a full hardened energy cell (2m RF) but only gives a full AE2 energy cell (200k rf). An alternative to this could be an advanced energy cube (3.2m RF capacity) or, more likely, a dense energy cell at 1.6m rf capacity

The AE2 Energy Cell is actually rated at 200k AE's, which if the conversion ratio hasn't been altered, is equal to 400K RF. Mekanism I do not know as well, but a little research revealed a conversion ratio of 1RF = 2.5 J, with the default config for Mekanism. Hope this helps!

I replaced the cell with a advanced energy cube and placed one in your inventory.
