    All,
    Due to recent issues with trolls, spammers, etc we are adding additional security to the TS3 server. This is to provide a better experience for both players and staff. You will now only be able to join the Lobby (normal muted one) and Other Games channel until you verify your account. This can be done on either the 1.6 or 1.7/1.8 lobby (see instructions below). If you have a friend or know someone that doesn't play MC you can submit a request with their TS UID (see instructions below) to a Staff Member to be verified. This ONLY applies to non-MC players.

    Again, this is being done to prevent trolls, music spammers, etc from causing issues and to enhance your TS3 experience!

    How to get your TeamSpeak 3 Unique ID:
    1) Open TeamSpeak
    2) Click Tools -> Identities
    3) Copy the field labeled "Unique ID"
    Screenshot by Lightshot
    4) If adding to a mobile device;
    *) Click the Export button at the top of the Identities window and save the .ini file to a location you can find.
    *) Transfer file with ID data to your Android device and put it in your Download folder.

    How to verify in game on either Hub:
    1) Log in, with Minecraft, to one of the MyM Hub Servers
    2) Type /ts list
    3) If you don't see your ID, type /ts add <teamspeak ID>
    Example: /ts add oiJ4T0RyvxDJaIAdtBv0mukeouI=

    How to verify a user:
    1) Log in to TS as a Staff Member
    2) Talk with the user to verify they are a real person/player
    3) Right Click the user and Set Server Group -> Verified

    Copy your Teamspeak ID to TS3 for Andriod
    1) Download and install the App from the Play store
    3) Click on the Identities icon in the top menu bar
    4) Click on the import button in the bottom centre of the screen
    5) Select the .ini file created in step 4 of the first section
    6) Click the little dude with the check mark beside the Identity you've just imported to make it your default
    7) Connect to TL teamspeak as yourself and enjoy

    Slight issue where the Verified status wasn't saving. I have corrected it but it requires you to re-verify Sorry for the hassle.

    the decision wasn't made quick or lightly. It has been an ongoing issue for at least half a year now. We welcome any suggestions/ideas, though.

    Maybe you could figure a way to tie in ts3 with the forum user interface so when they make an account on the forums they have access to the TS aswell?

    Unfortunately that would be an additional step:

    1. forum signup (including auth key from one of the servers)
    2. adding teamspeak user id to the forum.

    I mean when you sign up to the forum it automatically signs you up to the teamspeak

    It needs the teamspeak user id. I don't think we should force players to install teamspeak in order to sign up on the forums.

    Seems like a fair thing to do. I can't count how many mic-spammers I have encountered in my years of using TS. I hope that this solves the issue.

    Do it on your PC and import your identity to your phone.
