Can there be a Team speak Rule Section for players so they know the rules of team speak. Since i do not think there is one currently.
I've had players on team speak say to me that they do not know where the rules for teamspeak are. That's why i am suggesting this to give those players a link to somewhere to explain the rules outside of the game. Because for the rules listed in the chat section, do not cover all the rules of ts since there's some players who are not aware of the profanity and other rules on teamspeak and to create a private locked channel in order to do that. So to clear the confusion up for those players it would be best and easier to create a post regarding rules of teamspeak and expressing what i allowed on there and what is not.
Those rules apply to Ts also i understand but theres no rules for what is allowed in public channels and then rules for locked channels and personal ones. If i am looking wrong please tell me because ive read that page many times and most of them are rules for for ingame and not chat or how people should speak in the channels and be apropriate and the only section that really provides information of what is allowed in chat.
Insults, aggressive behaviour towards others as well as racism will not be tolerated. Try to remain friendly when talking to others. Moderators and Admins (and their opinions) are to be respected. Spaming in any kind of way is prohibited. Only english is allowed in the public chat rooms Advertising, no matter what, is not allowed. Vulgar, inappropriate, or offensive usernames will not be tolerated This enough rules for it? I think this pretty much covers all of TS
@RomaDaddy As far as i know profanity is allowed in locked private channels that players create on ts so might wanna add that in parenthesis there
all I did was copy and paste from our server rules... all I added was the username thing. for the most part, i say to just tell players, if its not accepted on the server its not accepted on TS.
I think the biggest question I hear from folks is with regards to Profanity or excessive use of Profanity and Vulgar topics in Public Channels, which the Normal Server Rules do not really address... Some Mod's and Admin's (Jr or otherwise) seem to allow it, while others do not allow it, leading to an inconsistency in how TS is governed... Behavior that seems to sometimes be rampant in TS Public Server Channels would never be tolerated in Server Chat, which again seems inconsistent... Personally, I don't mind the occasional slip of the tongue, but some folks swear like sailors in TS in Public Server Channels... This is inclusive of both staff members and regular members alike... Some staff members tell folks not to use profanity in public channels, while others use profanity regularly in TS, which is again inconsistent... I'm not complaining, but it would be nice to have some of the TS Specific Rules better clarified, if not specifically stated in the Main Rules, for both consistency and clear understanding or what is or is not allowed in TS beyond what the General Rules currently state... As it does not seem to cover what I've witnessed being enforced by some and broken by others in TS since I've been a member... Zip
