When we first launched ATM8 it had many unfamiliar dimensions and it was uncertain how a restricted world border would affect progression. We've had time to see how things work out now and the lack of a world border has caused the world files to grow to massive proportions. It also means that not everything was pregenerated when we built the server. Adventuring beyond what was pregenerated will create a bit of server lag as it generates unexplored areas and needs to write new files. Server performance has definitely been impacted. So, we will be setting a world border at the 5k mark like our other servers. This will, obviously, cause problems for anyone who's base is outside of this area. You will need to move to a location within the world borders by the date we implement this change. World Border Change Info Date of world border reduction: Friday, January 5th Bases beyond x=5000 and z=5000 will become inaccessible beyond the world border We will keep a backup and any bases not moved can be retrieved for single player by requesting a World Download from the admins. Simply make a ticket on Discord and we will gather the files for you. The new world border will affect all worlds on the server. Note: If you find yourself in desperate need of some help moving your base please create a ticket on Discord and we'll see what assistance we can provide. Reporting Issues If you encounter any issues with the new world border and progress in the pack, or specific mods, please inform the Admins immediately by creating a ticket on Discord or making a post in the Support forums.
