Decided Against Tier 5 Donator Godmode removal

    I've received several comments asking to remove Godmode from Tier 5 donator kits.

    Removal of
    • Godmode
    Addition of
    • Additional OP kits bringing it to 3+3OP
    • Half /heal Timer (5Minutes > 2.5Minutes)
    • Add Witch, Enderman, and Blaze to the right click spawner change menu
    Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated as well as Tier 5 Donator views on this.

    I would be very much in support of this (As T5 Donor myself) - GM is OP for most servers.

    Already given my suggestions of the Spawners in TS xD

    I assume this is highly related to specific modpacks? As their are many equivalents on the kitchen sink packs.

    In my own point of view that was the only reason I bought tier 5

    It's more of some of the T5s are saying that they use godmode because it's there but it removes the fun of actually playing the game.

    I would support getting rid of godmode for tier5 donators. I feel like this was well thought out in rebalancing the loss of godmode

    Suggested as a global change rather than specific mod-pack - though some older mod-packs add armour that makes you invunerable (looking at 1.6.4 Kami), to my knowledge none in 1.7.10 can make you have god-mode (the closest being Bound armour, but uses LP as effectively charge).

    Fully agree with the removal of God mode. I use it, yet I would rather it not be there.

    Maybe we could leave the option to be "grandfathered" in so people like julio could keep god mode if that is why they bought it specifically

    Ahh, I forgot about Draconic.

    Primordial armour (Witching gadgets) though good and is good vs Armour penetration (Terra) isn't Godmode, can still be killed with it on.
    Kami was nerfed hard and is much worse than previous.
    Blood magics Bound armour requires LP and can run out if set up incorrectly.
    Not got much knowledge on Quantum, but from what I remember it has no penetration protection.

    nothing except draconic has void damage protection, quantum blocks everything except void damage, there's also thaumium fortress which does everything but void

    In my opinion, that depends on the player. As a T5, I enjoy using god mode since it gives me one less thing to worry about (mobs). It is also prevents hunger loss, which I know /heal and /feed would alleviate this but its a lot more convenient to not have to worry about doing that at all.

    I don't see any point in removing something that players spend their money on, since it is one of, if not the, selling points of getting t5. If you don't feel like playing with god mode, that is fine with me, but I don't see how my use of god mode would negatively affect your gameplay.

    could it just be an option when you purchace your rank for there to be 1 extra thing you fill in like u check a box for god mode and u get that or you dont check god mode and u get an extra kit?

    just so that everyone is happy on either side?

    I would suggest making /god a buff that would last 10 minutes with a cooldown of 1 hour.

    it is rigth now

    The way it would affect the people not using it, and reasons to take it away.

    - Rushing the end and killing the dragon.
    - Witchery has no point against people with god mode.
    - Warp does not hurt you with god mode.
    - People with god mode can advance ALOT faster then people without god mode.
    - Hungry nodes do not hurt you.
    - Boss fights are extremely easy, and majority of the time decent drops will drop to help advance.
    - Also it could help you kinda if you took it away, because you could be taken damage but you would not know because you had god mode and next thing you know your armour is gone.
    - In general it makes advancing way to easy and to fast.

    In my opinion god mode should never be a thing for normal players, donaters or not. It ruins and breaks so many things.

    Ok as good suggestions are we need to think of a way where both side will be happy

    Silentbane already propose a good one
