Done Trusting Ender IO Killer Joe

    I am pretty sure this is the way it was meant to be in the first place as when i was creating a mob farm in my first days on ftb infinity i was told by the beautiful peeps that killer Joe does not kill passive mobs

    The Wiki is so wrong about the KillerJoe...

    1.)
    2.) wouldn't swing weapon inside of claims or work outside of claims if the ftbwiki is correct

    3.) weapon is used and durability is taken, but well, thats ot :p


    Autonomous Activator has the same kind of "problem"

    actually i'm using spikes for my animal grinder, they are slower but they work fine.

    Just debugged the name and it looks like the name [EioKillera] is correct and was no typo from us.

    As the Autonomus Activator doesn't work too I assume that they only ignore block place and break but not animal damage.

    I believe that the killer Joe actually has a static uuid for the blocks now. We could also try that. I'll look into it more tomorrow.

    Wait was this not disabled in the configuration because I apparently crashed the server killing villagers with the Ender io and was told not to use "player" like killing mekanisms on villagers and passive mobs

    Would it be too much to ask to check/modify the rest of the server configs. As i've had this same issue, I thought it was disabled intentionally.

    I think he means to make sure that there are no other typos in the configs so it does not have to be reported again.

    why do you need to use a killer joe in the first place? you could just make a autonomous activator to do the killing portion for non hostile mobs and give it a tinkers scythe. also this negates the nutrient distillation requirement for much more efficient red stone power. just my $0.02 worth though.

    my 0.02 cent are that the KillerJoe is probably better for server, as the AA just spams click events...

    nutrient dest. isn't a big deal if you got a zombi/witch spawner

    also killerjoe is able to collect xp and you can charge RF weapons in it with wireless charger (so no pipes extracting/checking items all the time)

    which server and weapon? on infinity normal it didn't work a while ago.
     
  15. Found that during the screwed competition. It hurts pigs without and with a weapon(ethereal sword in my case)
