Indeed, I do not see any point of the fires myself, but the perditio imbued fire is coded to spread just like the rest of the fires, but revert the fire to normal fire. Why it's not working, that I can't answer. It worked successfully onDW20 and TDT as a mean of stopping the fires. Though TT might have gotten an update. I'm gonna take a dive into the changelogs and see if anything has changed regarding perditio. Otherwise, it might just be a problem MyG has. Still, imbued fires have to go. I'm gonna make a list now with all 1.7 servers using TT and make a new post asking them to be banned :/ 3 servers now, which have had incidents. This cannot be allowed to continue
did NOT work sucessfully 100% with merlin on DW20, and i had Xaryu block up the fire using water with me, and alpharue almost using it on TDT, and perditio imbued fire is buggy, REMOVE ALL THE IMBUED FIRES!
Is awesome how i could't found information of what exactly is imbued fire use for i don't think the Thaumcraft book says "Random item discover use it" there must be a purpose for it :/ Than just mass destruction and turning water into cake "thats the only thing i found about it if you use it in the water"
@julio1237878 the fire you speak of is the aer imbued one. It turns all blocks to sand, and water source blocks to cake. Aqua turns netherrack into snow. Ignis turns all block it touches to netherrack. I have yet to play with the rest of the fires in SP, as I hate them for the grief-ability they give, and the cleanup for staff members.
the ignis imbued fire is perfect for a netherrack/soul sand farm, creating soul sand upton use, and netherrack, the aer one makesthe blocks sand, the terra one is nice for clearing out the cobblestone in builds you made, the aqua one is like *(&) nether, i'm going to make it cake! and perditio imbued is obvious, and ordo i don't know what it does atm TBH xD
I wish the author in the future creates a way to control it and give it a use than just mass destruction
Plz tell me as i did't find a single piece of information for what it does :/ Edit: i know you said soul sand farm and all that but something a big more useful and with out the hazard of it going out of control
They were banned on every server that has them, the ban plugin derped and unbanned them though. Luckily I re banned them after this incident
they weren't banned on DW20, my ignis imbued fire area is still there, but after i used it it was banned
