Why Host the Modpack?:

Vanilla minecraft centered around economy has great potential to draw in a new crowd of players, helping to also bring in more revenue for MYM to have even better hosting for the modpacks. Vanilla requires significantly less resources to run than modpacks do, thus making it significantly cheaper to pay for. Mcmmo and towny are specifically suggested since mcmmo gives players a goal to work towards and another reason to keep them around longer, while towny encourages more player interactions and a better community feel to it, both plugins are available in 1.16. Chest shop would be a fantastic economy plugin to use, as it motivates players to be online more often to make sure their shops are stocked up, and it gives MYM builders a chance to really show off their skills.​

Any Potential Modpack Issues?:

MYM is a modpack oriented server, so it may take extra advertising to get the ball rolling on a vanilla server. However, there are plenty of dedicated players who i can easily see helping with that, even if it's just through votes. Price cutting is another large problem in economy servers, but that can be easily remedied by adding a rule to keep prices within a certain percentage of a global price. A third problem that could arise is current donator perks being too overpowered, specifically kits and god mode. The easiest fix for this is removing those perks from vanilla and compensating players with something else, such as extra claims.​
