What are some fun questing modpacks to play?

Im looking for some more packs to play. Iprefer questing packs and enjoy playing with magic and tech mods. Any suggestions? Playing through ferret business atm but want to play different packs as well

 

Do you prefer single player or multiplayer?

 

Pickle pack 3 seemed to be a pretty good pack tho it was starting to take way to much time to get any where.
Regrowth is also a good pack it has lots of farming.
Galactic science is my favorite tech pack(hyped for gs2) very light on system specs as well.
Blightfall is another of my favorites it got me into quest and magic packs but you have probably already played it.
Journey to the core was a interesting one as well.
Project ozone is a very popular skyblock quest pack i'm not much of a skyblock fan though

How much of a challenge do you want in your HQM?

 

forever stranded is fun.,. *cough cough with lots of potential death*

 

Forever stranded is definitely a challenging mod pack, fun with friends too.

 

Marooned on the ftb launcher is an excellent and unfortunately not so well known modpack that works nice in sp.

 

what are some good ones that have servers available to play on and are not a skyblock? I'm played out on skyblocks.

 

Well, if we speak about Multiplayer packs, then of course they are all only here on MineYourMind

The best HQM pack I think is still Regrowth, if you like Magic and farming and all that stuff. Also good is Crash Landing, if you like the survival thing. Then we have Galactic Science which starts you on the moon and is a bit skyblock-ish from its mods at the beginning. Then Ferret Business where you basically run a company and have to sell stuff to the questbook. (not my favorite, but I know some people who had a lot of fun there)
And I probably forgot some.
edit: I think Bevos has a questbook too, but I never got into that.

 

I cant seem to get Crash Landing server to work. is it still up?

 

Well if your looking for a single player questbook modpack, there is a new one on the the curse launcher that has quite some potential it seems after playing it,
its called invasion. try it out

 

This modpack is pretty awesome. Will there be a server for it here on Mym? i think a lot of ppl would like to play it in multiplayer.

 

i couldnt see it becoming a server, i have played through it a bit and it seems like a modpack that you could play with a few friends but not a whole server. but you never know, maybe if enough people show interest.

 

i would suggest "Rage quit" for a hard modpack but it has not gotten it's quests yet
