    I personality have had huge graphical bugs like my screen going multi coloured and then it crashing to desktop so I want nothing to do with that mod :D

    I quite dislike modpacks that "have 2 have <mod> or it suckzz"
    I also rarely use AE, tinkers etc, because its just so overused. They are everywhere.
    There are alternatives. Magic: Botania's corporea system, Automagy's (thaumcraft addon) requisition tome...
    Tech: Modular storage, Logistic pipes, Project red: Transportation....
    Magnanimous tools have the same basic tools that tinkers have (hammer, excavator etc), and none-tool related tinker effects/setups/achievements can be supplemented by mariculture, for example.

    Yes, I know some of the mods I mentioned have drawbacks, but do not even try to say that AE/TiCon do not have drawbacks themselves. For each, their own.

    However, the whole point of my rant is that: You should not just throw mods together and call it a modpack.
    Will it be a kitchen sink pack? (Has everything, even your kitchen sink xD) Like infinity, dw20 etc...
    Questing? SF2, AS2, Hubris, hypovolemia, beehappy etc?
    Harder? Dark trilogy, Infinity evolved?
    Or, will it have twists? Regrowth is a good example. Skyblock on the ground. Brings together mods that outside of kitchen sink packs will likely never interact, and on RG, not only do they do that, but its forced into progression.

    Yes, listen to what others think, but keep it as your own modpack. Would you play it? Would you enjoy it?

    I'm going to I just like to know what mods others like [DOUBLEPOST=1450964833,1450953762][/DOUBLEPOST]i want to make a hqm pack of sorts to help people start of in the pack and it to evolve into a infinty type experience where things are harder to craft and mods need each other to a point but not to the point of infinty where it takes like 2 months to get in some of the mods and im thinking of trying to focus on mods that people dont play on normaly which is why i made this post because i want to know what people like so i dont overlook mods just because i havnt heard of them :p[DOUBLEPOST=1450965086][/DOUBLEPOST]also anyone any good with crash reports

    Which mod are you talking about? You should probably look into making it work properly so that it can be used if it's the popular mod.

    That being said. I would like to welcome you to my project:

    My goal is to have this pack ready after the New Years. "Out with the old and in with the new"

    If successful, i promise to keep the pack going for 1.8/1.9, as long as the community can handle mod changes... from version to version.

    This is why i am inviting you to the project.

    From your post, i have gathered... you may be "new" to pack making.
    BUT you have a players perspective that i need.
    I do not make all the decisions, i allow my testers to discuss what mods,then we can choose if a mod fits the pack.
    Then if it "fits" we discuss balanced.[DOUBLEPOST=1450998204][/DOUBLEPOST]
    I agree here 100% about EE3

    EE3 seems broken.
    But Project E... well seems better but still broken.

    Also, i have players making "AE2" systems... without AE2. can i introduce you to Ender IO?
    It has an inventory interface.... also Botania has a similar feature.

    Personally... AE2 is overuse and a resource hog.

    I agree with u I like this pack because of the sort of"did u know u can use this mod for this"its like infinity killer and u have my full support and there is one mod I've wanted to play with for months ancient warfare :D I'm happy[DOUBLEPOST=1451004107,1451001966][/DOUBLEPOST]just so everyone knows Civilization-Modpack (Test Server) | Page 18 | MineYourMind Community <this is a infinty killer it will be the next big pack :p at least it should be and btw merry chrismas everyone
