Hmm I’m pretty sure plants count as animate... so back to narrowing down, Larger then an average adult human? Also Incase plants are inanimate, an apple or something that the player ate after catching?
Correct! It was a poor apple that fell to its death in the belly of an adventurer. Though I suppose by the very definition it should be animate since it is alive. I was thinking more along the lines of being animated and alive not just physically alive.
